My Daily Diet

My daily eating diet consists of the following:

I eat two meals a day, a total of two pounds of grass fed, grass finished beef. One meal consists of steak and the other ground beef cooked in butter and sprinkled with sea salt for taste. I eat 6-8 oz of fish per week as my budget allows. I typically only eat cheese with second meal and bite meat and cheese at same time with steak or I melt into ground beef.  I also include between one and two dozen eggs a week depending on budget.

-Grass fed, grass finished fatty steak like ribeye, chuck and sometimes prime cuts if they have enough fat on them.
-Grass fed, grass finished ground beef no leaner than 85/15, usually 80/20 but prefer 73/27 when available.
-All beef sausage from local market (no additives, chemicals, sugars, low salt) when budget permits.
-Wild Pole Caught Salmon, Mahi or Tuna (6-12 oz a week) when budget allows.
-Local Pasture Raised Eggs (no drugs, no pesticides)
-Grass fed, grass finished butter
-Block Aged Cheese (variety of flavors)
Baja Gold Mineral Sea Salt

Journal Introduction

Welcome to my journal as I share my exploration into a new lifestyle living in a minivan instead of the Buick which I was living in for over two years. I will document modifications I make to van  to improve my quality of life while living mobile. This is another major step in the process of regaining my place in society.

However before I move into a home I must embrace this new mobile home, make it perfect for my current needs and then begin the next step in the direction of  thriving.  I will continue my food journey to find a truly healthy menu amongst all the junk information that abounds in medical and diet related publications. I will continue to follow my gut which is telling me to explore the sailor diet more, a diet of fish, meat, some eggs and fruits, and one I lived for nineteen months followed by two years of junk diet of processed foods.

Follow along as I build a comfortable home and continue my hunt for a healthy diet to carry me through the next stage of this journey to true health.
